Join us on a Virtual Field Trip to the Autodesk Gallery to see how STEAM subjects influence real-world design!
On October 9th at 1pm ET / 10 am PT Discovery Education invites you and your students to join us for a virtual field trip to the Autodesk Gallery in San Francisco to explore the amazing world of design. The Autodesk Gallery offers a showroom of innovative design work to illustrate projects that make use of Autodesk solutions to support industries that depend on science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM) subjects.
Students will learn how technology helps designers, engineers, and architects to produce projects that transform our lives each day. Many of these awe-inspiring projects are shaping our future and industries need students who are prepared to imagine, design, and create the next great solution.
Dean Shareski, Educational Technologist at Discovery Education, hosts the Autodesk Gallery Virtual Fieldtrip for an up-close look at real-world designs that depend on proficiency in science, technology, engineering, arts, and math foundations. Many of the innovative design projects will be featured by an “Autodesker” whose passion for STEAM subjects helped him secure a coveted job as a manager for some of the most amazing 3D design software available. Students will also see firsthand how they can use FREE Autodesk to imagine what’s next.
Don’t miss the chance to learn how everyone from design professionals, engineers and architects to digital artists and students use design software to imagine, design and create for a better world.
