Executives of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada-based CHC Group Ltd., a commercial provider of helicopter flying services, especially offshore to oil and gas companies, as well as helicopter maintenance, repair and overhaul services, visited the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) to celebrate the company’s initial public offering on the NYSE. CHC Group Ltd. began trading today, Friday, Jan. 17, 2014, under the ticker symbol “HELI”.
To mark this special occasion, William Amelio, President and Chief Executive Officer, joined by members of the company’s board of directors, management team and other colleagues, will ring the NYSE Opening Bell on Tuesday, Jan. 21. That same day, CHC will also display one of its helicopters, a Sikorsky S-76, outside in Experience Square beneath the NYSE façade.
