Essential Equipment

Livestream owns more than 20 cameras, including models like the Sony F3, Sony EX3 and Panasonic AF100. We also have multiple broadcast quality switchers and all the encoding hardware required for productions of all sizes. When necessary, we supplement our equipment with gear from established rental houses and trusted partners. Livestream uses its own proprietary encoding software – Procaster – to get your content to your channel. Our custom built encoders ingest the video signal via HD and stream at the highest quality multiple bit-rate. Since we develop this technology in-house, we are able to continuously improve our quality.

For all productions, we encode directly to the Livestream.com platform, which utilizes the Akamai network and is supported by trained technicians available 24/7. Our platform can stream your content to a worldwide audience of unlimited size.
