Satellite Downlink, Fiber Delivery & Encoding
If your live feed is available via satellite or fiber, Livestream can receive it at our partner downlink facility and encode the feed in our New York encoding facility. We can even book a satellite truck to uplink your live feed anywhere in the United States. Our partners include The Switch and All Mobile Video.
The Livestream facility in New York City, located at 111 8th Avenue, is equipped with redundant HD–SDI uncompressed fiber Internet connections and generator-backed power. We have more than 12 encoders, each capable of streaming 4 bitrates, including 720p HD.
Downlink and encoding in our New York facility is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Optional services include audio processing, standard conversion and color correction.
