The goal of the Family Planning Program is to reduce unintended pregnancies by ensuring all Coloradans have access to affordable, quality contraceptive and reproductive health services. More than 27,000 unintended pregnancies are prevented each year in Colorado as a direct result of state and federally funded family planning services. By averting unintended pregnancies, family planning programs greatly reduce health and welfare costs.
