The panelists will also discuss Jewish and gay life in both the former Soviet Union and modern-day Russia. Discover the rich spiritual and social life and the support networks that exist in New York today.
The panel will be immediately followed by a Q&A, book signing and reception.

Masha Gessen, a journalist and author of The Man Without a Face: The Rise and Rule of Vladimir Putin.
Rabbi Sharon Kleinbaum, a spiritual leader of Congregation Beit Simchat Torah (CBST) and a human rights activist.
Dr. Jay Michaelson, a founder of Nehirim and leading LGBT writer and activist.
Dr. Bella Proskurov, a Licensed Psychologist and RUSA LGBT activist.
