A panel discussion with Aaron Sorkin, Academy and Emmy Award winning screenwriter, producer and playwright; Kathleen Hall Jamieson, the Elizabeth Ware Packard Professor of Communication and Director of the Annenberg Public Policy Center at the University of Pennsylvania. Alan K. Simpson, a U.S. Senator (R-Wyoming) from 1979 until 1997 and co-chair with Erskine Bowles of President Obama’s National Commission on Fiscal Responsibility and Reform; and Chuck Todd, Chief White House Correspondent and political director for NBC News, as well as the co-host of “The Daily Rundown” on MSNBC. Moderator: Alex S. Jones is Director of the Joan Shorenstein Center on the Press, Politics and Public Policy at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government.
