This event will connect students with young special guest poets currently living in the Middle East, who will share their ideas and inspiration to teach students how poetry is used to bear witness to conflict and respond to oppression. Students will have the chance to learn from the poets experience, while contributing their own work and ideas through the virtual classroom and during the live conference. Virtual Classroom activities are designed to help expand students minds on the role of language and art in our society, and give them the chance to contribute their own work to this endeavour.
