TEDxYouth@ValVerde is a nonprofit event organized by teachers from the Val Verde Unified School District to discuss Ideas Worth Spreading. Speakers share an 18-minutes-or-less talk at the event. The talks are captured on video, live streamed on the web and shared with the community. For our second annual event, we have an amazing roster of guest speakers that include a NASA/JPL scientist who did some work on the Mars rover, a comic book illustrator who was worked on The Incredible Hulk, Justice League of America, and Green Lantern, a professional musician that has done music for films like The Incredibles and TV shows like Futurama, as well as an assortment of artists, photographers, writers, inventors, filmmakers, and so on. This event is set to be a lot of fun so watch us!
