Come and join us live for TEDxEQChCh 2012: Uncontained conference, on September 1st, from 9am until 5:30pm NZST. The independently organized Christchurch event operated under license from the world-renowned TED Conference, will bring together leading local, national and global thinkers and doers to provoke, delight, uplift, inform, and inspire. It will connect possibility with practicality, lifting us from the rubble of our daily reality and pointing us towards the vision of our shared future. Presenters for this year's edition include: Alexandros E. Washburn, Chief Urban Planner of the City of New York; Jamie Fitzgerald, world record-holder for crossing the Atlantic in a rowboat and star of TV One’s First Crossings; Jane Henley, CEO of the World Green Building Council; and musician Aaron Tokona (WETA, Cairo Knife Fight, AHoriBuzz).
